It’s important that you get the right advice when starting out on a garden design course. We’ve structured our Garden Design Program to give the best entry into our profession. Not only do we teach garden design in our program, but we study planting design and construction detailing through lectures and within assessed projects to give you a well-rounded understanding of design processes.
If you are looking to start your career in a design practice then CAD skills will be very important to your employability and in-depth training is given as standard in our program. And if your aim is to start your own garden design office then our business skills training will help you get started quickly.
Over the past 10 years LCGD has supported the success of many of its graduates. We offer post graduation mentoring and continuing development training for graduates to keep them up to date with current professional requirements after they’ve graduated. Watch one of our very first graduates John Davies talk about his career to date.
