LCGD Graduates Win Gold at MIFGS

At the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, two of our 2024 graduates Zoe Rush (Hive Landscape) and Emily Rubira (Rubira By Design) brought together two states, and two distinct design sensibilities, in their award-winning garden, States of Green.

The garden explored the relationship between Queensland’s lush, tropical planting and Victoria’s grounded, textural approach, creating a sensory experience that felt both calm and connected.

The result? Gold Medal and Award of Excellence honours in the Achievable Gardens category and a design that resonated deeply with judges and visitors alike.

Thoughtful, intentional, and beautifully resolved, States of Green embodies the creativity and collaboration that defines LCGD graduates.

Incredibly proud to see our graduates achieving such monumental success so soon after their graduation!
