Behind the Hedge: An Exclusive Tour of Stonefields

Each year, our second-year students are invited to experience something truly special – a private tour of Stonefields, the renowned country garden of celebrated designer Paul Bangay OAM. With sweeping views of the Macedon Ranges and a design pedigree known across the world, Stonefields offers more than just inspiration, it offers an education in structure, restraint and the power of detail. This annual visit forms a memorable part of our second-year program, giving students the chance to see one of Australia’s most iconic private gardens up close, guided by our Director, Brent Reid.

We’re incredibly grateful to Paul for his continued generosity and support of the College. For our emerging designers, this is the kind of real-world access that shapes their design thinking and expands their understanding of what’s possible.
