LCGD Info Burst D – New Iconic Gardens AVAILABLE AS A CATCH UP RECORDING

In 2011 we invited speakers to choose their iconic garden of the previous decade that will, in their mind, be the gardens we will still be talking about as landmarks in garden design in 20 years time.

This autumn 2022 we revisit this idea in a series of online ‘Info Burst’ webinars. Each of our six speakers will champion a garden, explore their choice, how the garden inspires them, tell us how they came to make that decision and why they think we’ll still be talking about their choice of garden in 2042.

Join us as leading designers from the UK, Australia, New Zealand and the USA take us on a journey of future new iconic gardens.

We will reveal the chosen gardens in September!

Designer Ben Hoyle has been surrounded by plants and creating gardens for as long as he can remember.
Since founding Blue Gecko Landscapes in 1998, Ben has evolved from humble beginnings to become one of New Zealand’s most widely celebrated landscape designers, achieving numerous accolades and awards both nationally and internationally. Based on the stunning Kapiti Coast, Ben’s practice primarily works within the Wellington Region though happily accepts commissions throughout New Zealand and further abroad.

He is also Director & Curator for FFFLAIR, a new and transformative movement across the horticulture industry set to change the way we grow, nurture and invest in communities, science and the environment. Check out www.ffflair.com and be part of the generational change alongside the inaugural major event in 2020.

Our Info Burst seasons raise money for six horticultural charities in the UK and overseas – more details on our website.

All our Info Bursts are delivered remotely via online webinar and you will be sent an access code before the event. Each event counts as 1.5 hours CPD.

This event was originally held on Tuesday 01/11/22, but we are able to offer a catch up recording – just contact the office on marco@lcgd.org.uk confirming the recording you would like to receive.
